Now available by The Motor Masters is a 1934 Pierce-Arrow Model 840 for sale. For those of you unfamiliar with the Pierce-Arrow name, we’ll let you know that they were likely the finest cars built in America throughout the nineteen teens, 20s, and 30s. There were household names, but Pierce alone focused on quality above all else, and it shows. Today, cars like this 1934 Pierce-Arrow Model 840 remain among the best-driving pre-war Classics and there is tangible quality in everything you can see or touch.
The 840 was introduced in the spring of 1934 as a “low end” Pierce-Arrow, but that’s like saying gold is a lower-cost version of platinum. It’s as good as a build as anything Pierce ever offered and with new styling inspired by the stunning Silver Arrow show car, it was as modern as anything else on the road. The owner went through some restoration on this vintage vehicle. Starting with a nice original car certainly helps, and you can see just how straight the bodywork is, how deep and glossy the paint is, and it’s just perfectly detailed. The doors close with that legendary solidity that few other cars can offer and sitting on a 136-inch wheelbase, this is a huge car. All the chrome was redone, including the ornate grille, V-shaped bumpers, and archer hood ornament. This is a good looking machine.
A beautiful club sedan one of only 640 ever made. Absolutely beautiful original Mohair Interior. $3,000 worth of correct new wide white walls and tubes, including the Dual side mounts original straight 8 motor that runs like a Swiss watch. Older repaint Grill and front bumper rechromed. All the lights work. It’s just truly an amazing automobile.
So if you are looking for a nice vintage 1934 Pierce-Arrow Model 840, then you have found it. You don’t see vehicles like this around. They are becoming obsolete. Don’t miss out…call us TODAY!
